- Lean Manufacturing
Lean Manufacturing techniques were first imported into China in the late 20th Century. Many companies regarded lean as the best way to eliminate rampant factory waste. However, some of them achieved great success, some others failed. MEW 2007 is designed to help you inform the updated lean implementation practices in China.
- Plant Visit
Seeing is believing. MEW Plant Tour is presented in an effort to provide a live approach to learn from the peers' plant. Each visiting plant is carefully chosen and evaluated. The whole tour features presentation, onsite visit and suggestive discussion and consulting to help both the visitor and the plant to learn from it. Each tour will be designed to focus on one theme, which is often a specific problem, constraint or bottleneck the plant is facing.
